Redbud canopy. Good subject for apodization filter, I think. A7ii, 100 STF w/o:
As a special treat, I prepared a larger version, redbud2.jpg (3.4MB). It looks good on any monitor, but is optimized in size and sharpening for a Retina display, specifically MBP 13". Use Preview in full-screen mode for best effect.
Some photos from a recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Used the Loxia 21 and 85 exclusively. Loxia 21 was great for landscapes while the Loxia 85 was excellent for isolating detail.

Thank you, Chris! And, you captured a great seascape image there! I see that you are enjoying the GM now, huh?
Thanks for the praise, Joshua. I've had this copy of the GM for quite a while, after having to return the first two copies. Having shot only primes for pretty much everything under 100mm for ages, I had forgotten that zooms can be quite convenient every now and then .

Great shots on the last few pages, superb portraits Ronny and Joshua. Love the MGA shot Wilhelm. My neighbour has a number of classic cars including an immaculate Austin 7 which he uses for hill climb competitions. He keeps it elsewhere normally but arrives with it at competition time and somehow I always manage to miss my opportunity to go over an photograph it. Perhaps next time.
Most of my photography happens whilst out walking the dog, but.....
surgery means that this is not permitted at the moment so here are a couple of shots from a trip last year (Cheung Chau Island Hong Kong) with the 135mm Tele Elmar:
