Here's a fellow doing an apparent bit of art therapy. He is dressing a power pole in Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. He said he'd taken the bus down from Olympia, a 40+ mile ride. I never got an explanation of why he was compelled to come to make an expression like this. The jeans weren't wet, so hadn't been laying in the alley. Where did they come from? Too many questions to ask.
His "hat" is upholstery fabric from the corner of a pillow or cushion. I'm speculating, but perhaps he liked the hair-like strands from the frayed weave, in addition to keeping him somewhat dry and protected.
