Looking at the rocky shoreline

At Schoodic Point near Winter Harbor, Maine, Acadia National Park
A little astro and lightpainting with the new 14mm SP Rokinon
I used to be able to walk from the sand flats to the headland out on the horizon, but over the weekend in a heavy storm the ocean side on the left broke through to the inlet which was behind a 2 mile barrier beach. My morning hike is now much shorter
Clouds cleared up and the 3/4 moon set behind me and the milky way showed up
Fred -- I may have to think about that Loxia 50 sooner! Great shot with your lighting and PP.
Bob -- I love your three shots of the marina with three different focal lengths of great lenses. Terrific textbook example, and beautiful subject and lighting.

Remember the snowy part of the year? Seems like ages ago!

There are some very enjoyable images on this page starting right at the top! Beautiful color, light, and composition.
Mcbroomf, I really like the astro images with the sweeping FOV and near-moonscape foregrounds! Having spent a lot of time on the Cape (my wife and I met a long time ago at The Woodshed in Brewster), it saddens me to see the constant barrage on the barrier beaches and the breaks that result. Whether or not it's attributed to global warming and rising sea level, I feel in the last 10 years that there is a noticeable acceleration in beach erosion. I feel for you and your shorter walk...

Werner - as much as i love your images, i'm more amazed at the kilometers you put on - every other day it seems you're in a more fantastic location - living the dream (mine anyway) - have a great weekend, wherever you are!

That's a beauty Samuli, both the photo itself and your post processing.
I'm doing a bit of spring cleaning in my folders. Here are some shots from Poland (mostly Kraków and Tarnów) last year with A7II and CV Ultron 35/1.7.
I must say that I much preferred the rain and overcast sky we had the first days than the super hot and sunny weather the other half of the week...
