One walkabout shot from today´s afternoon. As I thought for the first time it wasn´t so easy to find a clean composition between so many blossoms

Several with the Summilux R 50...probably my favorite lens of all, so far!

The Nikon 105 has great sharpness starting wide open, and is very easy to focus, but the color just plainly sucks. Hard to try to get the color looking anywhere near what it should be. The vignetting is horrible as well....may be time to try a Contax 90
i was just discovering the same thing yesterday. took some test shots with my 105/2.5 out the window at work and was surprised to discover that it is extremely sharp across the frame at infinity wide open. totally up to the task of landscape shooting at f/2.5. i also had trouble with the color, but figured it was just because i was shooting through glass. on aps-c i always though the color was similar to other nikon lenses – different color balance from zeiss, but not necessarily bad and attractive for some situations...
finally a shot from one of my favorite bargain portrait lenses, the rokkor 55/1.7:
It's autumn in Australia; the Japanese Anemones have been coming out in our garden. This with the Voigtlaender 90mm F3.5 Apo-Lanthar (metabones conv. from EF) at its minimum focusing distance without the close focus adapter. F5.6.

And these were with the same Lux R 50, and an added ElPro close-up filter, and all shot WO

Superb shots! It would be interesting to compare it with FE 55/1.8 + Elpro. Which version of Lux R 50 do you have - E55, E60, made in Germany or Canada?

Thank you! My version is the E55, Germany, and I swear it's got to be the sharpest 50 that I've ever used! I'm getting the 55 1.8 sometime next week from an FM'er, so maybe I'll do a comparison. The shots from the 55 1.8 are pretty incredible!
