Good to come back to this thread now! I have been in Lofoten for nearly a week, with limited access to internet (my cell phone reception is only at "E"...). The weather has been harsh - a storm has been over us for days and shooting has been limited quite significantly. Saturday was particularly challenging, our rorbu (fisherman's home) was shaking so strongly that my wife feared that it would lift of from its poles. Naturally, we were forced to stay indoor all day
Due to the weather conditions I have mostly used my newly acquired Leica M Monochrom, as I often find black and white to work better in this type of weather. The Monochrom has served me very well and given me lots of images that I am very happy with. Yesterday, however, the weather improved a bit, and I even saw glimpses of blue sky. So I took the A7 out for a spin with Zeiss Distagon 35/1.4 ZM. The picture below is taken at Skagsanden Beach at Flakstad, which has been a favourite location for me during this stay.
Took my Leica projection lenses to their hometown...
All with Sony A7, first with Leica Elmarit-P 150mm f2.8, others with Leica Super-Colorplan-P 90mm f2.5, both lenses stopped down to approx. f5.6 with a aperture mask in front of the lens
Looking across what I believe may be the connector or lower portion of Round Lake
Tripod mounted A7r and Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens
ISO 100, approximately f11, 1/125 second; processed in LR6.9
October 3, 2015
At what I believe may be the connector or lower portion of Round Lake in the Round Lake Wilderness Area which abuts Little Tupper Lake at the William C. Whitney Wilderness Area. This is in or near Long Lake, NY in the Adirondack Mountains.
Trying On1 Photo Raw on a crappy laptop with an equally crappy LCD (my work laptop). Trying to develop a decent workflow including resizing for posting here. I feel like Photo Raw is a very capable platform for editing and they've done a good job so far on capabilities, speed, etc.

I can see the 3D pop effect clearly. Nice one!
Very kind of you, thank you!
I think for EUR 25 it is a pretty good lens. It actually delivers a stunning performance at infinity and stopped down to f8 - f11.
