Good to come back to this thread now! I have been in Lofoten for nearly a week, with limited access to internet (my cell phone reception is only at "E"...). The weather has been harsh - a storm has been over us for days and shooting has been limited quite significantly. Saturday was particularly challenging, our rorbu (fisherman's home) was shaking so strongly that my wife feared that it would lift of from its poles. Naturally, we were forced to stay indoor all day
Due to the weather conditions I have mostly used my newly acquired Leica M Monochrom, as I often find black and white to work better in this type of weather. The Monochrom has served me very well and given me lots of images that I am very happy with. Yesterday, however, the weather improved a bit, and I even saw glimpses of blue sky. So I took the A7 out for a spin with Zeiss Distagon 35/1.4 ZM. The picture below is taken at Skagsanden Beach at Flakstad, which has been a favourite location for me during this stay.
