Early in the morning, and what a foggy morning that was, I took a few images of this lady in mask while it was still fairly dark and the street lanterns were still on. Later on, I saw her again sitting in one of the many chairs at San Marco and I took a few more images of her. I asked her whether she had a card for me to get her information. She made some gestures with her hand and I realized that she didn't understand me. A nearby lady, she was probably in her 40's, replied to me and confirmed that indeed the person I was photographing didn't speak English. So, I asked her "Oh, is she your daughter?" And her reply was "No, she is my mother". It just shows how well you can hide your age really well behind the mask .

Taylor -- Nice shots, but pretty dark. Looks like you need a little work on exposure and PP. But the subject and crops are visually interesting and show you have a very keen eye! Sorry for the unasked for C&C, but meant in an affirmative way.
When traveling through Canton Province in China, we visited couple of old abandoned-like villages used as filming locations.
Below are captures from Gangning Film City near Taishan ('Let the Bullets Fly' with Chow Yun-Fat)
I truly wished I had Voigtlander Heliar 12mm f/5.6 Lens v.III on this trip!
Inspiring site as usual. Some amazing pages here. Just spent a day yesterday among several hundred amateur and professional photographers. Although I didn't interview all the attendees, I never heard any mention of the Sony name but I did hear people saying that Canon was going to be offering more mirrorless cameras, although nobody appeared too excited about that news. The people I talked to generally held the idea that mirrorless referred to point and shoot cameras lacking any viewfinders at all.
The photos below were taken with A7RII and the FE 24-70 GM. The desert is blooming! The afternoon light was so "golden" I took a couple of road shots right through the front windshield as my wife drove. This message edited as I discovered major calibration problems on my monitor.
