We lost our daughter 6 years ago in a New Years Eve car accident. She used to enjoy dancing with our grandson in the Bon Odori Festival here that honors ancestors of Japanese heritage. We still carry on the tradition and Darius participates in the dances, now honoring his Mom and Great Grandma. He is pictured here with a friend of the family who is one of the festival dance instructors.
Shot with the Canon 70-200/2.8L II on the A7ii
^^ sorry for your loss but what a great way to honor her
Skagit Valley last night...28 otus
fyi in case anyone cares....I drove up there from Seattle and it was totally overcast. Still yuck at 5pm so I went to Burlington Costco to run a quick errand. Came back out and it was car wash rain, but the winds had blown a blue sky hole in the west. So I went to one of the places I had scouted and had a great night. As I was leaving, it started raining again....
