Took a night off from the computer to attend my 1st Graders school Auction, and this thread jumped 3 pages!!! WOW...Some great images, too!
Derek, I see that your posting tons with the new to you A7!! Whatd'ya think so far? Picked up my 1D4 for the first time in a week or more, and it felt SO foreign??
Couple with the A7 and new to me Revuenon(Cosina) 55 1.2..

Interesting. I'm noticing how the photos I've uploaded here are noticeably softer than they are on my computer. Looks like I'm going to have to do some more research on the fastest, most effective way to retain image sharpness when posting on the web. Sharpening in Lightroom alone doesn't seem to cut it.

i love it so far, but dslrs always felt awkwardly large to me. my film slr is actually smaller than the a7. i shot with a 1Dx for a while but it never stopped feeling ridiculous + the grip was too small for my fingers despite all that bulk!
the evf is definitely an improvement versus the NEX for me and my slr lenses handle great. the body is bit bigger than i'd like to go with my rangefinder lenses though...
controls seem good except for a few stupid oversights (shutter speed limits on auto iso ) and the shutter is super sloppy. there are so many programable buttons i just went ahead and gave a couple the same function (though there are a few key options missing).
anyway another shot of my daughter at f/1.2 with the rokkor king made to look like cheap film processing:
