Hi Michiel,
nice to see you posting again, was already missing you (at the other forum as well, o/c).
Great capture with fabulous colors in that one, besides the beautiful painting.
Hi Werner, I have not had time for anything except jackhammering and pointing, together with a professional pointer from amsterdam, the facade of our house in France.
A big surface with lots of bricklaying details.
Nice stuff you have been posting recently from Florence! A lovely historic city. Do you have any pictures from inside the Duomo. I love the floor in there with the squares and circles.

Having seen photos of your house, I can well imagine how big a task that is! No doubt you have some photos for the before and after album.
I've not been around here much myself as I'm busy doing another round of renos at Chez Watkins as I'd like to have it done and off my plate before summer holidays arrive in just over three months, where does the time go?

Makes me feel good to know you are "almost" OK.
I give the compliment back to Naples and your set....
From inside the Duomo only the already posted cupola shot. I wanted to go up there, you can see the floor at its best from there, but due to serious back problems only made it to the first floor of the campanile.....hmm getting older
I wanted to take some pictures on top of the scaffold with a wide angle.
Just didn't find the time.
The man was here only for a week and did 3/4 of the facade. I did the jackhammering, running around jobs and catering.
Time is moving fast in deed! Michael I'll hope the dust is gone before you arrive

Don't worry about dust. As Sue will volunteer readily, we've seen our share of dust as we renovate this place... and it's only 80 years old, just a wee young thing in comparison to many places we'll be staying in in France!
