Congratulations Bob! Best wishes for you both.
I got a Lensbaby Sweet 50 lens for Christmas and I'm not sure what to think of it yet... The handling is tricky and the results can feel a bit claustrophobic and sometimes they make me dizzy... Maybe it's just a question of practice and finding suitable subjects for it and perhaps it'll grow on me. I'll give it a thorough work-out the coming week and we'll see.
It is somehow like operating on large format camera with all it's tilt/shift and dof/sharpness/plain of focus tricks.Intriguing and potentially addicting, though I suppose that you may choose classic simplicity of what a plain lens and camera can offer.
Thanks Peire! Yes, we'll see. My main feeling right now is that I wish that I had used my Nokton 50/1.5 instead...
I'm sorry Helena but this time I'm totally agree with your feeling

Very nice series Florian and great use of legacy lenses Then, beautiful place!!!
Edit: I've just took a look to your website: nice work, compliments!
Just a couple of shots from my neighbourhood from the other day. The sun sets so early at this time of year, and when the weather is mild, as it has been in recent weeks, it can create a special light and atmosphere. This was amplified on this day because of the fresh snow which created a beautiful white glaze on the otherwise bare trees.
Both shots taken with Leica Summicron 75 AA. at 5.6.
Thank you Manuel! No need to apologize - I appreciate your honesty! Especially since I feel the same. The more I look at the shots I have taken with it so far, the more I feel that the lens isn't right for me. I think I'll ask the person I got it from if it can be replaced with something else. I know he wouldn't mind, but maybe the shop's return period is over.
Thanks Peire! Yes, we'll see. My main feeling right now is that I wish that I had used my Nokton 50/1.5 instead...
Thanks Helena !
I also have a Lensbaby set and it can be a real fun lens to use but only in certain circumstances, it's not really a day to day lens though can be used that way without and Tilt or Shift. I've kept it across Pentax, Nikon and now Sony so there must be something I like about it's output
