That is a bit of damage to the wallet hope you get a good one. Will you get the native E-mount or grab one of the Canon/Nikon mounts and adapt? With the other mounts they also sell an adapter which offers shift with the lens.
thought this was a great place to start out as a new member. The image was taken in the small village Gsteig bei Gstaad in Switzerland. _DSC0868.jpg by Johannes Hüttner, auf Flickr

Joshua - your images continue to be among the best!
Aeonism - You have made me pre-order that Laowa 12mm!
The rest of the images on this page are just wonderful!
Bob the same thing happened to me after seeing those wonderful posts by Aeonism! I preordered the Laowa 12mm too! Yikes now I'm waiting on the Loxia 85mm and this 12mm lens! I've pretty well decided to sell my Leica WATE so I can get some faster wide glass for astrophotography. Now I'll have the Laowa 12mm f/2.8, Batis 18mm f/2.8, Loxia 21mm f/2.8 and 24mm -70mm GM f/2.8. I think I should be set for now?
This forum is making a big dent in my bank account I hope I'm not coming down with the dreaded GGAS Syndrome! (you know the Guy Gear Acquisition Syndrome)

It's an interesting lens, still no real idea how it works for astrophotography, Belgium is not the best place to try that. The initial reviews by Bastian and others noted coma. If any one wants some raw files there are a few linked to in the Laowa thread.
Trying out a7R in crop mode with Canon EF-S 15-85 IS.
You use the EF-S 15-85 IS with the A7R on the crop! What a blesphemy!Lo and behold!
We are probably the only two human beings on The Old Good Earth to do so.

You showed me the way!
It's such a great lens! I'm no longer using my 60D, but I couldn't sell this lens.
I am getting close of finishing posting hummingbirds from CR. This is a species that I have not posted yet as one of the last. Believe it or not, the common name of the HB is: Violet-eared Inca
