Those Loxia 85 shots are very impressive René. Unfortunately I couldn't possibly justify buying the lens myself having just bought the Loxia 21...........unless......possibly.....

Snail from couple weeks ago in Panama. While shooting this snail (like a dummy) I laid down on the forest floor where I was consequently bitten by an unknown undetermined assailant--most likely a spider. Two days later and for almost four weeks I had a huge eschar oozing and cracking to remind me of my trip
Ha ha - exacty. And yes that is the famous Nan XIang restaurant. US Presidents have visited here before - that zigzag pathway across the pond to the tea house is iconic. Very nice shots ! Avoid weekends and times when the tourist buses are likely to drop off their contents !

Btw. what is causing the flare in the CV 35 photos (the vertical one below the sun)? I don't remember seeing that in my CV 50 photos from last winter when I took many similar photos with that lens.
I meant to post this back then shortly after the trip in July but ended up not doing it for whatever reasons. Now, it is a cross post at another thread now... sorry .
