A couple of shots from a weekend hike up at the Hillstead-Museum in Farmington, CT. A beautiful property and the fall colors are getting close to peak.
First pic is a 3 image focus stack using Helicon Focus. It still needs a little minor touch-up for some minor ghosting due to the breeze between shots on leaves in the foreground before printing.

I'm sure it goes without saying, but amazing work everyone! I only glanced over the page real quick, playing catch up at work from being at our LA office for a bit. I need to go back over many pages it seems. Got to spend the weekend in LA though, and visit Joshua Tree National Park.
Being away from this thread for a few days means a lot of images to go through and enjoy. I went to the Ricketts Glen State Park yesterday to see the waterfalls and was surprised there weren't that many people there. Shots were taken in later afternoon when the sun peaked through the trees.
A set from The Getty Center in LA. If you're in the area, go. $15 to park and the tram ride and museum are free. There is no better entertainment value in the city. Between the multitude of exhibits, the libraries, the free classes, and the gorgeous setting, it's basically art-geek Disneyland.
