Some things I often do with colors in Lightroom are:
-Start with the "Camera Neutral" Camera Calibration profile.
-General adjustment of white balance.
-Move Orange slider towards more red.
-Sometimes Yellow towards more Orange (but more rarely).
-Sometimes de-saturate greens slightly.
I almost never keep the camera at AWB but instead choose a Kelvin value (usually 5500K for outdoors). Sometimes photos turn out too warm or cold, but at least they are consistent and much easier to correct.
Btw. it was the coldest night/day so far this season. -5C when I went out.

As the whole how do you like the VC Ultron 21mm on Sony A7 body? Do you have to stop down the aperture much to get good edges? I am interested in exploring this lens as I am using all M mount lenses with TAP. Hopefully this lens performs better than the Leica SEM 21mm on Sony. Thanks.

John, for me it works... a different and original point of view. Both very nice captures.
October is a really busy month for me . . . Work Travel and two weddings, one of which is my daughter's on October 22nd. So, apologies in advance for not being able to keep up with this thread. I managed to get out while on the road in Cleveland to catch sunset on Lake Erie. I also got a chance to try out my new Contax G 90/2.8.
Now that I'm back, I just received the Techart Contax G to NEX AF adapter so I'll be testing that out. I updated the firmware. It appears to AF quite well but it's also quite noisy.
The feint grey log just in front of the marina is a Harbour Seal lying on a rock and acting as a useful navigation aid. Later in the evening they move onto the marina pontoons.
I am in the process of going through the images from Costa Rica and there are quite a bit of keepers that I skipped the first time around for whatever reasons. This one is of hummingbird that felt the urge of getting rid of something when it started to rain, just like us humans occasionally .
