Great set Helena ,Bob ,Řyvind,Jordan.Louis,Jan, Douglas and bowens
Nothing new from me .. difficult to find motivation ;(
A bit of fall color. Both images are stiches. Honestly can't remember if they were taken with the Olympus OM 24mm f/2.8 and/or Voigtlander 35mm f/1.7. Maybe even the Tokina 17mm f/3.5. :P
Joshua, no AF or other aid except focus magnification via Focus Magnifier assigned to AF/MF button. I've been practicing it since late 2013 so I don't even need to recompose after focusing.
Ronny, you used to post portraits of your daughter. What happened? No free modeling now days, I guess
I have not been able to devote any time to photography for more than a month. I hope I can catch up with all the wonderful images here. These shots were taken in the Cascade Mountains between storms.

Thanks Ronny and I hope the motivation returns soon. We need your photos!
A trip to the top of Treble Cone near Wanaka in South Island New Zealand seemed like a great photo opportunity. You can see the town of Wanaka on the far side of the lake in the first shot and if you look very, very, very closely you might just be able to spot my M adapter stuck on the end of the one M lens that I left behind in the house we were staying at in Wanaka. What you probably won’t be able to see is my spare M adapter which was in my case, also in the same house. Never mind, carting 3 useless M lenses up a mountain must be good exercise!
Fortunately I did have my Loxia 50 with me and if you have only one focal length available then I guess 50mm is pretty good……………….. for portraits (well, almost) with landscapes in the background,
Went hiking today with my wife on Whiteside Mountain in NC. Have to go back to work tomorrow, so I will have fewer images to haunt these boards (much everyone's collective relief, I am sure). Tried focus stacking for the first time. First is one of my favorite views: Whiteside's vertical cliffs. They are about 700-800 feet high and are some of the highest granite cliffs east of the Mississippi. Sometime I want to get this shot when there are folks climbing these cliffs....I only wish the light was less harsh, but I was too lazy to get up for the early light today.
With Zeiss ZM 35/1.4 (two image focus stack):
Same view and same technique with the Leica 28 Summilux. This lens really seems to be quite acceptable (to me) on the A7r2:
Somehow my wife convinced me to pose for a picture and also allowed me to teach her how to manually focus the Zeiss Loxia 50/2!
Returning the favor:
Hung around for the sunset near the "nose" on Whiteside. With Loxia 21:
A bit of the afterglow (Loxia 50):
Then, trying to capture the colors on the horizon after the sunset, and also trying to use some of my longer lenses for landscape, these two are from the Leica M 135/3.4:
I took the Voigtlander Heliar 12mm to the newbuild Rotterdam Central Station. This is an area with lots of non vertical lines. This is where the 12mm shines.
A7s, CV 1:5,6/12 F8, SOOC.
Crosspost from Voigtlander Heliar 12mm thread.
