Thank you, John! Great images from Jökulsárlón! Are you still in Iceland or did you make it back home?

Just received a copy of the Leica 90/2 AA. I'm very impressed with this lens at close and long distances.
Here is my first portrait test with my daughter Julia.

Congrats!
Not to derail your excitement, but have you considered 'equivalent' Leica Lux-R 80 + Cron-M/R 90 (Mandler's) for portraiture?

Thanks Jako,
I wanted a compact lens that did well at close and long distances. Initially I thought about the Summarit f/2.5 because of its size but unfortunately it didn't perform well at infinity. The 90AA is a great all around lens from my initial tests.
Strictly for portraits though, I always grab my 85/1.4GM but it's not allowed to travel with me everywhere.
Take care,
Fred
Thank you Werner! Means a lot coming from someone as talented as you.
This and that from around Trondheim yesterday. The traditional boats, a direct descendant form the old Norse Viking boats, originate from a place called Ĺfjord outside Trondheim some time in the 18th century. The design makes them very suitable both for rowing and sailing and they come in different sizes.
The first is from CV 21/1.8 VM and the rest CV Nokton 50/1.5 VM.

Allen MI? Interesting: I lived in the US for a while teaching at Ann Arbor, and did a lot of shooting at Milan, MI: my first thought was that this looked like Milan. Not having spent all that much time in the US is it that towns like this look vaguely similar across the country, or is there a distinctive Michigan or Midwest slightly rundown look?
David just saw this. I'm not very well traveled within Michigan, but it strikes me that in the more rural parts of southwest Michigan there are a lot of contracting small towns trying to keep themselves on the map. Along this one stretch of road there are a couple of towns with a million "antique shops" i.e. aging junk, claiming to be the antique capitals of the world. Funny and sad at the same time.
The flood brought this lady to my backyard, I finally got around to taking a picture off it and processing it. My house was was of 1 of 2 on my street that didn't flood so I think it's a sign I should leave her alone.
My wife and I just commenced our trip to Spain, starting in Madrid, and off to Barcelona in a few days. Hope to keep posting some pics throughout the trip.

Light was super harsh so a lot of junkers, but I thought these were okay.
