Thank you! Yes, that lens plus 1.4X TC Mark III in combo with Metabones IV. The AF is decent, actually pretty good and thankfully most targeted birds in CR, except for hummingbirds, are practically stationary.

I'm going to have to put my A7RII on my 400mm 2.8 IS version I next Spring and shoot some birds!
Shot with the Sony A7RII + 16-35 F4. A fun edit with hikers composited in from a different area onto existing tracks to better show the incredible size of those glaciers.
First photo I'm posting here with my new to me Voigtlander 35mm f/1.7 Ultron VM! Thanks @Greggf! Really liking it, never spent this much time with a 35mm. I can definitely see it replacing my Contax G 45mm f/2 as my primary lens. I also bought a cheap helicoid adapter, tons of fun. Might need to get some new adapters so I can use this as an intermediary adapter, giving my OM, FD, Nikon, Minolta, and Pentax lenses the benefit of the helicoid.
