In the ocean of my overwhelming laziness and a lack of time I came across some backlog pitures from the thaw in the early spring of 2016.
This year's summer wasn't particulary sunny :-( ,but I'm looking forward to all beauties and astonishments of the comming Lady Autumn and Lady Winter again,in a hope that they will not disappoint me too much now.And even if so,in a hope that they will turn my disappointment into a new experience.

Last Saturday was grey and wet so decided to visit an old haunt Gloucester Cathedral - but without my usual go to 16-35 and just take 'old timers' - Contax Zeiss 35-70mm 3.4, Olympus OM 21mm 3.5 and a Konica Hexanon 57mm 1.4
A7RII
Lighting not as good as usual, flash and tripods discouraged or not allowed mostly in these churches - so hand held and high ISO
Contax 35-70
Osric 7th century Prince Mercia
Olympus OM 21mm
Konica Hexanon 57mm @1.4

Robert of Normandy, eldest son of William the Conquerer
Another one from my Wednesday night in Brooklyn, NY. I brought my A7R2 with my Batis 18mm, 25mm, & 85mm and my 55mm ZA. It was a great fairly light weight kit for some casual shooting around during the day in Central Park, the morning at the Top of Rockefeller Tower and late afternoon and night in Brooklyn. This is a shot across the Brooklyn Bridge with the Empire State Building lit up in Red, White & Blue. It's hard to believe that in two days it will be the 15th Anniversary of 9/11. Lots of tributes will be made to remember those who lost their lives that day and the survivors who live with the tragedy every day since.

Another bird image from CR captured using my favorite long lens, Canon 400mm f/2.8 Mark II. I just love the feather details that lens can produce even with a 1.4X TC at wide open aperture on the A7r II.
