Sorry, been busy with work again. I let my likes do the talking on the fabulous work constantly on display in this thread.
I finally managed to take a picture of the milky way here in Japan. It only took me four damn years and a dozen tries . This is just a single exposure shot taken at ISO 6400 with a Samyang 14mm. I'm still not happy with the result, but it's a start.

in this case i just stuck it in an empty m to e mount adapter backwards and taped it in place, but there are lots of reversal ring you can buy for ~$10 for different filter thread sizes.
