As far as I have understood Sony has put the same "feature" to NEX cameras, so no help from there. Also crop factor; I don't have wider lens than 21mm and it's pretty long in crop.

A few shots using the Sony 135mm f/1.8 on my A7r from the other side of the world. I took that lens with me especially for this type of shooting and it that respect it didn't disappoint but I wouldn't use the combo for anything faster pace than this shooting condition.
Those looks great Joshua! Where were these taken if you don't mind me asking? I like them all but the high clarity/sharpness of the eyes in pic three is approaching unrealistic IMO. However, take this with a grain of salt as I have never produced portraits as wonderful as these.

Thanks, Gary. These shots were taken in Jakarta, Indonesia. And, yes, you are correct about the eyes. The model, as other models during this session, wore special contact lenses that created that sparkle effect and as you can tell, the eyelashes are not real. In addition, the make-up artist did a good job "enhancing" the eyes. In enlarged, view you will be able to see those conditions very clearly but I'd rather not spoil that . But let me tell you that I didn't create anything that wasn't captured by the camera/lens combo. That lens truly can generate really sharp images at wide open aperture.

My NEX 5N and 5T have none of those problems. I love them wide with the Voigtlander 15.
