These images are out of camera (OOC) JPEGS taken with Sony's Clear Image Zoom feature on the A7RII and the Tamron SP 35/1.8 It is quite interesting to use a 35mm lens with already extraordinary minimum focus distance tested with the Clear Image Zoom. It adds a bit of versatility to a single lens outing.
I made it to Costa Rica safely and it took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to go the lodge somewhere in the rain forest area. We stopped for a break and outside on the terrace, there were hummingbirds. However, I was able only to get my FE 70-300mm as the other gear was buried too "deep". Here is one of the first 3 decent shots just to get my feet wet. The real adventure will start tomorrow and I am crossing my fingers.
I will get better access to the internet tomorrow and I will go through the images posted here. Sorry....
