Beautiful owl photos Joshua! It's funny, a couple of years ago someone suggested that I should draw an owl clipart set (clipart is what I do for a living - mostly to be used at schools and for crafts), but I never got around to it. After have seen your photos inspiration hit and I have started to work on such a set finally.
Some landscapes from Swedish Lapland. All CV 35/1.7 VM, except #2 and 6 which are from CV 15 III VM.
Helena, you must have been posting while I was drafting, which is why i didn't congratulate along with the others. Super set! Some real stunners here IMHO.
Photo taken at 7:18 AM on August 12, 2015, of a White Deer Trail, Big Meadows, Shenandoah NP, Virginia. Image taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my Sony A7r camera, ISO 400, lens set to about f11 for 1/100 second. Exposure corrected by +0.24 Stops and Processed in LR6.

Helena, thank you very much for your compliments. I am honored that the owl images inspired you to draw owl clip art.

Laowa has botched up the FE mount of the 2/105, I think the lens itself is quite flare resistant and has really high contrast but reflections in the extension necessary to maintain the flange focal distance kill any contrast easily when you shoot against a bright background. https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7647/28057235501_7a00e5e49e_o.jpg
Love your "green" series
Keep a good work with your website, it helps a lot of people out there.
Any more thoughts about that Laowa 105mm ? I can see it can produce some very nice images (my opinion)
Good portraits with it ?

I will write a full review by the end of July. Haven't shot any real portraits with it yet. What I really like is the very good LoCA/Spherochromatism correction, much better than my MP 2/100.
