^ Ronny - I don't know how to give you any more superlatives than have already been given. You've captured more interesting bugs and frogs than I have ever seen let alone photograph. What/where's the source of of all these colorful creatures?

Gregg,
Can you tell me something about the contax 100/2 on the 7R?
How is the feeling in the hands? too much front heavy?
Thanks and congratulations!
A 100/2 loxia would be nice
I agree! A Loxia 100/2 would be awesome! But....between the Contax 100/2 and my new to me Olympus OM 100/2 I'm pretty set. Not to mention the Zeiss MP 100/2 that Ronny so wonderfully makes shine regularly, I think there's lots of options.
The Contax 100/2 really is stellar. A little big, but once you see the results with it, you'll forget about the weight and size...I promise. Being a Planar design, you can pretty much shoot it WO at infinity with stellar results too. It's very sharp to the corners.
Then, enter my Olympus OM 100/2...here is a quick comparison(bokeh and central sharpness/pop) between the Contax vs OM. Really hard to tell apart. In fact, I really can't tell them apart right now because I emailed them to my iPhone so I could post them. Not sure which is which...except the MFD shots, where the Zuiko wins by spades because of its .7m mfd, vs the Contax at just short of 1m

Boy, that's WIDE, what a lens....a real challenge but great fun
The foreground here is very close. The corners and sharpness great: Search the feather...
