Between hikers passing by (and lingering along the trail) and the clouds rolling in and out (and other challenges.) Getting a good shot seemed to be a folly. Rich can attest to that...
I'd like to give a shout out to our domestic animals for being the first involuntary models the minute we unbox a new lens. Had to try out the new Sony G 85 1.4 on Milo. He was dodging and burning to get out of the pic
Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 VM with VM-E close focus adapter and sometimes also the Canon 500D close-up lens. All taken at f/1.5. I'm very pleased with this setup, but when I get a chance I'll take the Rokkor 58/1.2 for a walk. It's been too long since I used it so I have forgotten how it renders and I'm curious to see how it compares.
Haven't posted here in a while. Time for me to join the fun again. But don't expect me to catch up of the some-hundred pages that I missed...:-)
In the interim I bought the FE 85 f:1.4. Interesting lens! And works a charm with the IBIS.
