Read about the 21mm loxia in the forum and all i see is people talking about decentering, i don't even know what that is... anyways here are some photos taken with the 21mm loxia! From my experience, its a super great lens, and its so amazing they're so tiny, still have the 16-35mm but maybe its time to replace that.
Photo taken at 6:56 AM on August 16, 2015 of a Fawn and Doe White Tail Deer, Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image heavily cropped and taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 800, lens set to f4.5 for 1/320 second. Processed in LR6.
I started dabbling into starscape a little and bought this Sigma 20mm f/1.4 lens. Who cares about the bulk and weight! I don't have to go to the gym anymore or is it the other way around, I need to go to the gym to be able to carry this lens around? At any rate, the fun factor of this lens is high up there. Here are various images taken with that lens. I posted a similar shot of the last image from Vegas before but this was taken later in the evening.
Edited to add another image I forgot to include previously.
Some super grabs these last several pages!
Joshua...we'll talk about that photo trip you're going to take me on one of these days! I'm jonesin to shoot something else other than my kids and around my house. But, since I got a new to me lens yesterday, I'll post anyways....kids and around the house!!

Very nice Joshua! Looks super sharp and clean. What do the sun stars look like from this lens?
Thanks, Gary. After I saw your post, I scoured my images and I couldn't find any that would show distinctive sunstars. Either the sunstars coming from this lens are not pronounced or just the lighting circumstances were not conducive for sunstars to be created. But I can tell you right away that the best sunstars I have seen in this focal length range are from Loxia 21mm.
Although this lens is fast and generates excellent images between f/2.2 and f/2.8 for starscape, but the focal length at 20mm is a tad too narrow and as such, you have to be more precise in the composition. I will try my Batis 18mm for this purpose at the next outing to the desert for this purpose. We will see how things turn out.

Hi Gregg,
You bought that magic lens, huh? Great images! I had that lens some 10 years ago and it was awesome. I was tempted to get that again but I decided to stick with just a minimal number/type of adapters for my system now in the last year. or so . Prior to that I had too many adapters and too many alternative lenses and it became cumbersome .

Looking good Joshua
Thank you, Helena! You know I always admire your images . Keep it up!
Argh Gregg, I have wanted that 100mm lens for years.
Sorry Helena! I had it a couple years back, sold it, and couldn't pass it up again. I do prefer this over the newer ZE/ZF version myself. Fantastic lens!

I get that! I'm trying to whittle down my collection to a minimal best lens collection! Very very hard. I too, have too many adapters, so Contax is my choice for now, although I do have a ZF 25/2.8 coming. I wasn't too impressed with the Contax version, and I hear the ZF.1 is really a great lens. We'll see...
