Great grabs these last two pages. But, I've to single out Derek for his "Mother's day" post. Pretty awesome!!
Haven't picked up the Loxia 50 in awhile...forgot how much I like this lens.

My son last night and his date for prom. Shot with 2 Godox 685 flashes and the GM 85. Notice the sync speed. These new units automatically go into HSS mode. Love them
Apologies for a long post. Since the Batis 18mm is so new, I thought I'd post a bunch of the images I took on a recent day out climbing in Austria. I've noted where settings between photos change.
This photograph is low hanging fruit that's probably been done by numerous photographers hundreds of times. Whatcom Falls and Creek are in a large park right in the middle of the city.
Still, with something so beautiful so nearby (a mile walk from my apartment), I can't help but photograph it.
Actually, I took this image with my A7rII & and Canon FDn 20-35mm f/3.5L right after I took nearly the same image on my Eastman 5x7 using Harmon Direct Positive Paper:
Since it's a positive, it's reversed. Development was uneven and caused problems on the edges, but this was my first ever 5x7 photograph, so I'm still pretty happy with it. And even the A7rII's 42MP can't keep up with the 200MP scan of a 5x7!
A couple from my stay in Las Vegas. The canoe sculpture is in front of the Vdara Hotel & Spa. This is a good place to stay if you want to get away from the Casino's and all the second hand smoke. It is a very creative use of some canoes of various sizes and colors all strung up by massive wiring. The picture of the Paris Hotel and Eiffel Tower is from across the street from the Bellagio Hotel & Casino.
