Love these pages. I really like the mix of old and new lenses. Here is another desert shot with the A7RII and FE 24-240. I really like the look of that 24-70 GM but I hate to give up the 24-240 range and convenience especially in harsh dusty desert environment where you hate to take the lens off the camera.
Your photos of Stockholm are truly stunning. The 3D rendering of the C/Y 35/1.4 sends chills down my spine, as I just bought one off of eBay yesterday to use on my A7ii. If I can deal with the size of the lens, I'm sure that I will have made a good choice.

Yes, both Wilhelm and Derek know how to make that lens to 'sing" .
Got a new adapter for Nikon F to Sony E in the mail today. This is my third K&F Concept adapter purchased on eBay (vendor -- zedigital), and shipping was very fast from China (bought on April 26), price was great at $10.80 and free shipping. It joins K&F for Minolta MD and Canon EF (for my manual Samyang lenses). All have worked without problem and have close tolerances.
Here's a little test shot from ZF.2 35/2 lens, wide open at f/2.

David,
I am more than convinced that your mom mote than just likes her FB picture; she must have loved it . Furthermore, people can quibble about the price of the Otus lens but they cannot do that with the IQ its generates .

Thank you Joshua!
I do love the Otus 55mm very much - especially on the a7 series.
Ever wondered how they filmed 'Avatar' in China?
Dono! It must cost the producers a fortune to shoot there with public restrictions. I mean, there are lineups on the road to the National Park, lineups to find a parking then 1-2 hours lineup to get to the 30+ floors lift to the top where, you guessed, there are lineups for local transporation to the park's entrance.
However, once you got to the top there're no lineups; just one long foot-by-foot crawling walk to viewpoints where you wait for ever-chimping iPhone shooters to make you 1sq foot room so you can to point your camera and with your other hand push all those who lean on your elbows.

Wow, you sold the lens . I hear you about the weight and size of the lens making a lens to be left at home, regardless how good that is....
Here are 2 images from Monument Valley; no landscape images but of a lovely, elderly Navajo lady on the horse back near her home on the valley floor.

You folks shamed me that I sold the CV 35mm 1.7 but no more, I have one in my hands now.
The two GMs are not going anywhere.
Joshua. More wonderful shots. You're killing me with these 24-70GM shots. It's quickly become the next item on my shopping list.
You didn't happen to try out the 70-300G by any chance?
I'm about to head out to Yosemite on Friday and am really annoyed at the timing. I was hoping I'd have the 70-300 at least by then (but that doesn't seem to be happening now).
And I would have loved to have the 24-70 as well.
Oh well. Next trip.
On a separate note, and to agree with you both, that CV 35/1.7 is special. I'm sorry I sold mine. i'll be re-purchasing that one ASAP...After I'm done with my current list:
- FE 70-300G
- FE 24-70/2.8 GM
- FE 35/1.4
I've finally decided to go all in on the FE lineup (after bouncing around with a lot of adapted stuff).
