Joshua, great to see you back Superb shot and looking forward to the rest
Ronnie, your shots continue to amaze me!
Werner, great street capture.
Rene, love that composition!!
Shots this afternoon at Currumbin surf beach. The temperature is still 27 degC and it is almost winter.
The Loxia 21 is truly a wonderful lens to have. Anyone sitting on the fence should borrow or rent one. It is interesting the Loxia make for a nice environmental portrait lens @ f/2.8.
Photo taken the evening of April, 26, 2016 at 6:02 PM of a field of Muscari "Bluebells" at Lock Ridge Park, Alburtis, PA. I will have to return to this field, but as things look from my first take of the year the crop does not appear to be nearly as good as previous years. Image taken with my tripod mounted Sony A7rM V3 and my Zeiss 35mm f1.4 Distagon ZM lens with my Hawk's Factory Helicoid V5. ISO 400, lens set to f11 for 1/13 second. Processed with Cornerfix and LR6.

Thank you very much, Charles! Loxia 21mm, huh? Amazing shots! Regardless of what lens you use, your images are simply lovely. I will go for the Batis 18mm. Weill, at least, I placed a preorder for that lens . We will see when it will be delivered.
Here are 2 more predawn images from around Page. The first one is a close-up of the Wahweep Marina and the second one is a section of the Colorado River and the power plant in the background. The famous slot canyons are located fairly close to the power plant.
Since I drove on this trip, weight didn't play much of a role. So, I took and used my heavy Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 Mark II on that trip. .

Charles -- These are some of the best I've seen of your work. That lens really suits you and the light you have there. I know a lot of people like B&W, but I love seeing he subtle color rendition here. Really lovely.

Joshua! Between you, and the images Fred has been taking, it's really setting a beautifully high bar for photos of the Southwest! Great twilight river shots!
The first image from the Upper Antelope Canyon where it simply begs for ultra wide angle. I wouldn't say the wider the better is 100% but pretty close . t used a Canon 11-24mm f/4 for both the Upper and Lower Canyons.
Agua Fria National Monument, Arizona - Very isolated harsh environment. Everything scratches, bites or stings. I was a bit nervous walking on lava rocks to get to these bright colors in the midst of dull browns and grays having just avoided a rather large Diamond Back rattlesnake. A7RII with FE 90/2.8 Macro.
