Forgot about this one...back in Maui with the A7R & 16-35 f/4 before I got the v2. Friends there have quite the sunset view from their pool. What made this picture unique is that I was in the water with my camera holding it with one hand as I had a beer in the other...probably not the smartest! Clouds weren't cooperating for great color, but still a great perspective.
Not fun to post after you, but...
Wanted to see how the CV 35/1.7 VM performs in the forest, so I took it for a short walk today. Some shots (first three at f/1.7):
We had magic light here yesterday evening with the low sun coming through as a strom was clearing. This was while I was driving home. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me. When I got home it was nearly over and I only managed a couple of rushed snaps from my back porch. This one is Dilsberg at sunset with a fading rainbow:
Taken with an A7 and C/Y 80-200 @f5.6, heavily cropped. Would love the additional reach and extra bite of a C/Y 100-300 for this but still looking unsuccessfully.
Thank you sebboh and likewise (and the contax g 45 looks great)! I'm envious of the forests you have in your area. It's one of the things I remember the best from our visit there. That and the very friendly people.
If ever anyone needed inspiration to go out and take photographs all they would need to do is look at just one page from this thread. Trouble is you can't ever look at just one page, so its quite time consuming!
Some hedgerow shots with the A7RII and Summarit-M 75mm f2.5 (plus close focus adapter)
