Images from a six day ski tour in the Berner Oberland in the Swiss Alps.
Our itinerary was Jungfraujoch- Konkordiahütte - Finsteraarhornhütte - Oberaarjochhütte - Finsteraarhornhütte - Hollandiahütte - Blatten. Most of the route and cabins are at altitudes above 3000m. The planned summits along the route were cancelled due to difficult weather with poor visibility, snowfall and wind that lasted until the last night at Hollandiahütte when the sky cleared up.
I wanted to try the Loxia 21 and brought the A7RII with the Loxia 21 plus Contax G90 and the RX1 as a second camera. A two-camera setup worked OK but one of the cameras normally stayed in the backpack. A 24-70 zoom would have been more convenient and lighter and was my setup on a similar trek two yeras ago..
Photo taken at 8:05 PM on August 13, 2015 of a Fawn and 2 Doe White Tail Deer, Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image heavily cropped and taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 400, lens set to f4.5 for 1/125 second. Exposure corrected by + 0.12 Stops and processed in LR6.

That's a nice shot, Richard. The white balance seems a bit off, though.
Jordan,
Thank you. The deer were in the shadows about 7 minutes before sunset. I may have made the last adjustment of +0.12 Stops that pushed the warmth and brightness a lttle bit too far so that they did not look quite like they were in shade and more like they were in magic hour out of the shade.
