Today it's the first day of the spring and the weather is,well, horrible.
Yesterday was a nice sunny day and I went to visit the castle in my city's outskirts. The whole estate with former grange is now turned into recreation center with many facilities, car museum included.I took couple of Pentax M lenses and the A7R.Lighting was rather harsh,so Pentaxes had an opportunity to show their rich colours.
A7R+Pentax M 28/2.8
A7R+Pentax M 85/2.0
A7R+Pentax M 20/4.0
The museum has many old cars, bikes and other machines, most of them roadworthy. Some very rare.

Chaika GAZ 14 - luxury limousine for top soviet dignitaries..
Classis Lincoln Continental Tour Coupe in green..
Rare version of Bentley MK VI from 1950...
Polish made truck from the 1959...
1958 Polish mini car with engine of only 296 cm3 cubic volume...
I finally purchased an A7RII and as today is very murky with snow on the way I thought I'd have a try at bird photography. These are with my old Nikon 300mm AF lens, in manual mode of course.I used a Nissan i40 flash as it's so dismal out there.
Z.....love that!
Charles...love the Cron on the beach set. I chose my Loxia over the Cron, and it was a very hard decision! Still not sure if I should have!!
Helena...excellent grabs from town.
Chris88...thank you. Nice images with 70-400...
Jack...glad to see you back! Some stellar images from you lately!!
Phil...thank you for the kinds words last page
And everyone I haven't mentioned...love his thread and its contributors.
And maybe I missed it a while back; where is Michiel? It's been a long time. I hope everything is ok??

2-3 weeks ago Werner answered to mine similar question about Michiel: Werner said Michiel is ok taking a pause from this thread posting somewhere else... in my opinion it is a real pity, so many inspirations from him.
In the last days seems we have lost also Werner and Bob

A couple of more photos of relics in this unusual junk yard, mine, ghost town in Jerome, Arizona. A7RII with FE 24-240mm.
Dale, the clarity and the sharpening of your last series taken with the 24-240 are impressive

The "baby" is fine and it performs splendidly. Just the weather and shooting conditions yesterday were not good to generate worthwhile images. I will try again next week....
I'm returning home from my trip to Banff National Park, Canada tomorrow. Lot's to got through. While the weather didn't quite cooperate with the epic scenery, it's just a magnificent place. It seemed like when we wanted clouds we either had too many (overcast) or too few. When we wanted to do some astrophotography, we had clouds and no milky way.
Here's a few of my quick favorites. They're not quite done on the post end but certainly good enough to share.
These were taken yesterday at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. All photos taken with Sony A7II and either the Tamron SP 35-80mm f2.8-3.8 01A or Kiron 80-210mm f4.
