Somewhat out of focus, but I still love this photo. Fireworks had gone off, and the smoke drifting through Circular Quay and the one monk-like man in the foreground make me imagine some strange dream land. It is pretty hard to focus with my 1950s Canon 35mm f/1.8 LTM wide open. And sadly I am now starting to realize how much I need a great native 35...
Close focus distance would be nice to have closer than 0.5m.
Have you tried the VME or Hawks adapter? With my CV 21 1.8, with the adapter you can get some really cool super wide images!
Charles...love the Cron grabs last page. Excellent!
Ronny...stellar as always! How many snaps did you take while in Iceland?
Digital_AM...nice gecko...the Bokina is an incredible lens. I just(finally!!) found a 1:1 extender for mine (Contax). Can't wait to use it for serious macros! I might even get close to Ronny's caliber YEAH RIGHT!!!!

@f11...I had to try it. To me it looks pretty damn good stopped down!

I usually publish most of my pictures not later than one-two weeks after taking, hence the fresh memory. And there are only about 330 lenses, not a milion, but I'll do my best!
I'm trying to treat all lenses fairly i.e. use regularly each and everyone from the hoard. It is not easy due to limited time and personal preferences (Zeiss,Minolta,Leica). Some of them do have to wait months,(or years), to be taken out.
