after have seen Gregg's photos above I'll try f/2.5 next time.
Nice set Helena...the Loxia 50 @f2.5 is my sweet spot. Maybe the lens too. But if you look at Bob's previous WO set, it does really well. As long as there is some distance from subject/background. It also has really good pop and 3D as well.

A7rll and FE 28 all @f11 and no post sharpening, btw
What a great page of images! I received my Loxia 35 today completing my Loxia Trilogy. I love how similar all three feel in my hands on the camera. Now, to decide whether to sell the Voigtlander Ultron 35/1.7 . . . In the mean time, here are the first snaps with the Loxia 35

Derek, love that dramatic desert shot. I have a lot to learn about black and white. Here is my first attempt to add more impact to image above.
the picture of mine above uses split toning (yellow highlights/blue shadows) to bring out some of the more subtle details. it also uses a lot of shadow recovery to keep the blacks from being crushed in the high contrast desert. i also pulled the exposure down on the skies to maintain some of the contrast there.
my normal b&w conversion has a very heavy curve applied that crushes a lot of blacks and a fair bit of clarity added. here's the same image with that:
