Don Felder of The Eagles fame played last night at the FN Platform show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A7 with the Minolta MD 35-70 f3.6 Macro lens.
Here are a couple of panoramas shot with my TS-E 24mm that I've reprocessed using the new CC version of Lightroom with its improved panorama merging and its new haze filter - a substantial improvement... John

Read from mobile application, which collects news from many sources, that there will be sun storm. Went to photograph in hope for some Aurora Borealis. Soon realized my mobile app had listed most popular news, and that news had got lots of clicks on previous day well there was nice moonshine for landscapes and lots of fresh air...

Photo taken October 1, 2015 at 9:06 AM looking across Heart Lake (Lake owned by the Adirondack Mountain Club) which has a hint of mist, the Adirondack Mountains, Lake Placid, NY. Image taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo Telyt lens and my A7r, ISO 400, lens set to probably f11 for 1/250 second. Processed in LR6.
This image thread is truly amazing. The quality of the images seems to be increasing and since the A7 series cameras have become more and more mainstream, the number of photographers using one of this cameras is getting more and more. Kudos to everyone!

Wirklich ausgezeichnet, René. The question is how did you go up there? Did you hike up or is there some kind of mean of transport, at least partly? Just curious...
I had my Kiron 105mm 1:2.8 serviced. It got a haze and i could see it become worse. I do not regret the decision to have it fixed instead of buying a modern macro for use with my A7R.
Below 4 shots from yesterday in my garden.
So all shots taken at F8, variable iso and macro setting. Kiron 105mm 1:2.8 F-Mount through a Metabones f/g->FE mount adapter on my Sony A7R. Handheld. Post proces in Adobe Camera Raw.
Hong Kong hasn't been very rewarding these days. It has been nearly a week since I last saw a clear blue sky. Instead I have been left with haze, rain, wind, and a bitter cold (well, its not really cold - about 15 degrees celsius - the only problem is that my inlaws refuse to close the windows so that I never get really warm).
Anyway, yesterday my Norwegian weather app (yr.no) promised me blue sky again. I hoped for a great sunset, but that hope soon faded. The blue sky turned into a thick layer of grey clouds, which later offered light drizzles of rain. I was already at my location, so I gave a damn about the rain and opted for staying - hoping for a good shot. Usually in Hong Kong you are never alone - there are so many people here. But this time it was dead silent around me - all I could hear was the distant traffic and a family of squirrels playing around me.
The final result was this. Its an overview of Causeway Bay with North Point in the back. Taken with Sony A7 and Loxia 35.
^^^^ Cool Werner!

I shot this truck last week with the Loxia 50. Yesterday with the Cron 50 v4
