Some of my pen turnings with 90mm 2.8 Sony FE
Nice shots and nice pens. You inspired me to put in an order to try my hand at some pens. Had to get a ShopSmith mandrel and then a mandrel saver #2 and a starter set with 8 pens and blanks, etc. Hope I have what I need
Great images everyone! I am a bit surprised that there are very few pictures in THIS thread that are shot with the Canon tilt and shift lenses like the 17mm and the 24mm. I know quite a few Canon shooters bought the Sony for the better sensor to work with their tilt & shift. Maybe not worth the trouble doing all the adjustments?

Thank you Werner. Some of your building shots do have that tilt and shift look in them. I am sort of contemplating getting an used 17mm or a 24mm to play around on the A7II. I have never used one before.

They're interesting lenses - big, bulky, heavy. Great IQ, though I'd go for the 24mm over the 17. I wasn't too impressed with 17's edges, especially when shifting, and the 24 takes filters.
Your "waves" image is beautiful. Shutter is slow enough to soften, but does not remove all texture. This really adds to the sense of movement. Color and lighting are great also!
