A few more ice cracks with CV 50/1.5. I included one taken at shallow water from about 1m distance, to show you how clear the ice is.
When the ice moves (for example because of wind or temperature changes) sometimes hair-thin cracks appear around larger cracks. Shape and direction depends on how the ice moved. It's the air inside those cracks that make it possible to see them. Since they are extremely thin they often disappear within hours.
