I posted similar shots to these last year but with different lenses. These are with the new Voigtlander 35mm f1.7 which I seem to be using rather a lot (my other lenses have started to complain about being ignored!).
Both on A7R. The blue tint to the mist is natural, not as a result of my processing.
Very nice, that Voigt looks great and love the misty feel -- it's been a few years since I've seen that (living in the desert now!)
Some awesome images last few pages. I still need to go back and "like" lots of images, yet. Been out with the stomach flu😣 Both kids, me, and now the wife😳
I've been in a tizzy trying to replace my Lux 50 ASPH(should have just kept it) and finally, after going and perusing past images, I settled on one of my fav 50's from my A7 days. I know it seems fickle, and moronic, really, to buy/sell so much, but I hope I've settled a bit, but we'll see. This new/old 50 can't handle the resolution of the A7rM up close, but still has a look that I adore, especially for a lens that's from the 80's. So I thought I would try it again. Here are some of the first images with it. And feel free to chastise me for my fickleness, please!!

Hi Jack
Very nice shot
How is Leica 21mm Super-Elmar-M f/ 3.4 ASPH on A7R II ?
see you are using A7R M
Is A7R II, equal to the A7- R bit worse performance of Leica lenses ?

Hi Ronny,
I'm happy to chip in here from my experience with wide-angle m-mount Voigtlanders - 15mm III, Ultron 21 F/1.8 and Ultron 35 F/1.7. The 15mm has always been fine, but latter two both suffered from both field curvature and a peripheral magenta cast on the A7R, with the 21 showing the more pronounce colour shifting. On the A7RII the field curvature remains but is manageable, but the colour shifting towards the corners is effectively gone, showing up only very rarely on the 21mm. My M-Hexanon 50 (poor-mans Summicron) and Elmarit-M 90 are just lovely on the A7RII. Regards, John.

Thank you Ronny!
Few months ago I replaced my Distagon 21/2.8 with SEM21 and I love this great, sharp combo, but it requires CornerFix or similar to remove colour cast and of course sensor stack modification on Sony A7xx camera.
The SEM 21 is much better on Kolari modded cameras, like most WA RF lenses. If you're considering trading your Zeiss ZF. 21/2.8 for something smaller, I would consider the new Loxia 21.
I took the same shot with Zeiss ZM35D on A7RM2 and sensor reflection around lamps were the same.
I think that would be a great choice, Ronny - the Ultron is a heavy beast but was the best available option for me at the time I bought it - stopped down to F/5.6 or beyond it performs very well for landscapes.
