Yes, the Wasabi charger is fine but I haven't used the OEM Sony charger. So, I can't tell how good the Wasabi is relative to that. But the batteries are fine. I would say they hold almost as much charge as the original Sony one.

I sold one of my D800e bodies. Have one more which I'll most likely be selling. I'm pretty happy with the Sony. Still learning it and the TSE lens.. Fun stuff !

BTW, which strap are you guys using? Do you prefer neck strap since this is so light? I'm asking because I only use hand strap for my 1DX to reduce burden on my neck. Thanks.
I rented the A7R camera recently over the weekend to see what all the fuzz about. I wanted to see if it can complement my E-510 I'm currently using.
In general, I really liked the camera, and found it as close to digital OM one can get. While obviously not as universal as a DSLR, it can certainly be a nice addition for one for slow moving objects and landscapes. I think I'll be getting one soon (although, A7 as I plan to use it for macro shots and don't want to deal with the possible shutter shock).

I purchased the original Sony PCK-LM16 screen protector from cametaauctions on Ebay, they still have them in stock.
