Photo of Ama Dablam in Khumjung, Nepal. Captured in Mongla just after sunset using the Sony A7Rii & FE70-200. Didn't think I would be so impressed by this lens.
Wow, that is breathtaking. What was the post like on that shot, did you have to tweak much to get that amazing shading? Also, how long of an exposure was it? Thanks!

Appreciate the kind words maxogden. Nothing to drastic. Truth be told, I have only started using lightroom about 2 weeks ago, so am definitely a beginner. I increased contrast & highlights, lightened the blacks and darkened the shadows. Also increased the saturation to better represent the color in the sky that evening. This image was actually rather easy to get looking good compared to all the others from the trip. The harsh lighting and glare off the ice capped peaks made it difficult to get good unedited photos. We did the walk as a part of a group so unfortunately I did not have the option to wait around for the right lighting(golden hours).
I'll be very interested to hear of your experiences with this lens. I've been eyeing it for a long time . . . just haven't pulled the trigger.
Hey Bob...I've only had it for about a week, so I'm not too familiar with it yet. So far, I like what I see. It's nicely sharp, Has very nice 3D, and the Voigtlander colors. Will it compete with the Loxia? Probably not, but I saved a hell of a lot of money I think Michiel has one as well, I believe.
