Great pics everyone!
Joshua - great holiday shots
Ronny - I think Iceland's tourist association needs to pay you a commission!
Here are two from Austin's Trail of Lights. A7r and CV 40mm f/1.4 Nokton - probably around f/2.
Dave
Thank you, Dave! And I agree that Ronny should indeed get some commission .
Nice images from Austin's Trail of Lights. A few years back I tried to see that event but, I don't remember exactly what happened but it got cancelled on the day we went

Thank's Manuel,
it is made with an off camera flash, Nissin with radio trigger.
The flash is sitting at the right pole pointing upwards.
At full daylight (a torch for light painting would not work at full daylight), mixing flash and daylight to taste via aperture (if it is too bright i sometimes use a BW Vario ND filter).

Werner, thank you very much for this explanation, very interesting... I thought it was a night capture so many compliments for this technique

Still going through pics from our recent trip to Florence and Istanbul. These are some random pics from Florence:
Anyone like trompe l'oeil? From Palazza Pitti with FE55
Ceiling from Palazza Pitti (could post a hundred ceiling shots, I think). This with Zeiss Batis 25 at F4:
A sculpture I like (sculpture making sculpture) with FE 55:
Naughty Adam and Eve (from Baptistry Ceiling mosaic) with Leica R 180/2.8:
Mosaic from San Miniato churchn altar (on hill above Palazzale Michaelangelo). This mosaic dates from the year 1260. It was really dark so this is a long exposure (30 seconds) at F4 with FE55
Here's a change of tack for most of you - pics from that quintessential English game - cricket - a test match between NZ and Sri Lanka to be played out over the next five days at our local grounds - a mix of lenses...
