enjoyed your pics of new york a lot Sean. I have a soft spot for the crowd shot on the barrier... And the cityscape is spectacular. Which lens did you use ?

I had really convinced myself that I wasn't going to get this camera and am quickly losing that restraint. Just a little concerned about the magenta cast with a wide angle lenses. Thanks gain everyone for posting these samples!
My SLR lenses(FD SSC 24/1.4 Aspherical as an example) work great with no magenta cast on my A7r.
RF lenses are a bit more picky. CV 21/1.8 seems to not have issues, my Leica M 24 Elmarit Asph has very minor magenta along the vertical edges that most shots don't show it, same with my M 28 Elmarit version 2.

have a look at my blog. I will write about it in more depth in the coming days.
A7 thread and all so I apologize, but I am curious why you would use lightroom for those adjustments on your blog and not just PS. Especially when PS allows you to drop quickly into and out of LAB mode for color correction, mask off layers and stuff for selective brightening, dodge and burn, etc.

oh and nice shots everyone.
a)because PS doesn't offer the same control over highlights and shadows LR offers since 4.0
b)because LR is much more time efficent for me
c)because I like the non destructive/metadata philiosophy of LR
