ebookman, i'm not sure what you're doing to your pics in terms of processing or sharpening, but they have a ridiculous amount of pop! Secret sauce and all...
Thanks, I probably spend too much time on post processing.
Photo taken about 5 minutes before sunset, August 15, 2015, Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image cropped and taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 800, lens set to about f11 for 1/60 second. Processed in LR6.
San Miguel Allende is a popular a wedding destination in Mexico. On Friday, there are several couples that will get hitched in the weekend get their pre-wedding photo session done around the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel . One of the favorite spots is the cobble stone lined side street right behind this church. The flower vender whose image I posted earlier was here and apparently did well selling there.
We saw this couple and their photographer there and we asked whether we could take several images. No problem, and here are two images from that session without interfering at all. On the first image, the photographer was on the right side of the street and of course, he did not include the third person in the composition, while I did the obvious thing . Actually, I isolated the third person in a different frame by itself using a longer lens but I chose not to post the image here. The official photographer was next to me on the second image; just FYI. A few minutes later, we said farewell and wish the couple the best luck and moved on.
Wonderful as always, Joshua. Your images have such a sharp brightness to them. They immediately capture my eye!
Winter is starting to settle in here in Minnesota. The past few days have been cold with highs no more than freezing. The lake is beginning to yield signs of ice formation. In some ways, I can't wait for winter and the frozen lake.
