One of my favourite lenses on the A7II is a 1960's Minolta Rokkor MC 55 f/1.7. I think it's a wonderful 'old school' manual focus lens. With apologies for the flickr downsample sharpening in the wide image of the girl in the sea, here are a few samples :-)

Did you end up buying the 28/2 FE Jordan ? Thought you were pretty turned off by the distortion of the lens when you reviewed it.
I did. Eventually I realized I wanted a native wide angle, and I couldn't justify the price on the 35/2.8, and I didn't want something super huge (or the cost) of the 35/1.4. While the 28/2 isn't perfect, it's a pretty good lens for a reasonable price and it's somewhat versatile. I'm going to add the 16-35 soon and after testing it the past few days, I'm going to get the Metabones and EF 70-200/4L for my telephoto zoom. Quality is excellent (as was known) and AF speed is quite good on the new firmware...almost native speed in good light. Buying a used 70-200 will let me net that combo for around half what the FE 70-200/4 costs. I may also then add the EF 85/1.8 or 100/2. I was going to go for the Batis in this range, but for the price of the Batis, I can get the 70-200, the adapter and the 100/2. Seems to be the way to go. If the PDAF wasn't good, I'd go another route, but I've been really pleasantly surprised.
Moffattros, love the image of the girl in the sea and the last one of the two guys talking. Both capture wonderful slides of life.
Last several pages have had some tremendous B&W images. I too have been in a B&W mood lately. In spite of incredible colors in some roses below, somehow their abstractions really only resonated for me monochrome.
