Butch..Nice to see some posts from you. Nice images. sorry we haven't been able to connect in SC...one of these days.
Thanks Greg - We will definitely have to meet up on one of my trips to your area. It might help if I gave you a little more than a couple of hours notice.
Here's a couple of images I took last week at the annual star gazing event, "Nightfall" out in Anza Borrego . The first is from the missile launch. You can imagine it got lots of attention with 50 plus telescopes pointed up to the sky....

A very cold morning in Waterton this morning - with a light breeze, 80 km/h gusting to 100... a good test of Sony's IBIS, since my tripod kept blowing over if I let go of it.
That's a cool shot Cliff! It get's sooo windy down in Waterton.... I used to love it for the windsurfing I did but now that I gave it up, it is not nice so more.

There is also a 12mm f/2.8 fisheye that works well on the whole full frame image circle, but that's twice the size.
Ah, yeah, that's about the same degree I had to crop the 8/3.5 when I used it on my 6D, not sure the a7S files are big enough for that to be practical for me. I'm still considering getting that lens for my X-E2 at some point though For now I just use my dad's Nikkor Ai 16/3.5.
My girlfriend wanted to be a princess at the renissance Festival this year, I think she rocked it pretty well
