2 pics from the same shot, to show short-range performance of the Loxia 21. The first one is the full picture at MFD at f:4.0, the second one is a close to 100% crop. I find it remarkable!
Nice shot, and from the image size I see here, focus appears to not be an issue. Fine compositions, colors, etc!
But, I, too, have more trouble with the longer lenses and focus; care to tell us where in this image you were trying to achieve maximum focus? The two, or even three, distinct "layers" here invite a variety of techniques. Where did you try to nail it?
Michiel: Great perspective on this through the window shot.
Ronny: Again, I never get tired of seeing those wonderful ice on the beach shots, but I also like the lightning in that waterfall shot very much. I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you use a tripod for those shots or are they all handheld?
Werner: Wonderful atmosphere in this misty autumn shot.
Greggf: Beautiful autumn shots with the Zeiss 35 1.4 (especially No.3).
Jako: Beautiful presentation of little details in those Old town shots. Colors, as always are the subject of my envy .
Philippe: Thanks for sharing the first Loxia 21 shots with us. I like the colors very much.
Rene: Beautiful shots from Europe.

Thanks, and keep up the fine work!

Thanks Ron. I was (trying) focusing on the main peak on the left half of the image. If you zoom in, it's very apparent it is soft. Hope this isn't how the lens behaves!
A closer view of downtown Houston on a wet evening. A tall building in the distance has the lights turned out to spell out "UH" which is the University of Houston.
Nice images everyone!

A "HUGE" shout out to Jack for the profiles he gave me for this lens! I'm still playing and learning the lens and cornerfix...Thank you!
