Playing around with a demo of Topaz Simplify....pretty fun, with a ton of different looks and lots of control. Just one of the presets and the original photo. Might be worth $99 for this one
Interesting. Now that I think of it, it looks a bit like the in-camera watercolor jpeg picture effect.

First off, thank you everyone for all the likes! I think I might be running out of compliments, I just can't get past how awesome this thread keeps getting.
Gregg, sorry to hear about the sickness going around, we are suffering it here too.
Ronny, the frog shots are awesome. I need to learn to do macro like that.
Manuel, those night shots are amazing!
Joshua, wonderful church shots!
Jack, those shots are fantastic!

Shots from a Wedding on Saturday
A7rII FE 35/1.4 , 50L, 85L II and ZA 135
Thank you, Charles!
Great images from the wedding. So, the Canon lenses worked out, I assumed? I did another photoshoot today using mostly my Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 Mark II. I figured out a lot of steps/tricks since I did the Hollywood glamor session 2 weeks ago and now it works even better than before. I took some 250 shots and not a single one is out of focus using that Canon lens. The PDAF of the A7r II and the AF system of that lens kicks some serious booty .

Thank you, Terry! Your nephew will love the Halloween images you took of him years down the road .
Here are 3 images from a studio session earlier today of one of the cars and one of the models. I still have to go through some 200+ images . Just for fun and not for a gig where the fun stops . Lens used: Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L Mark II. It has become my go to lens lately; really superb in many ways.

Thank you, Joshua
Awesome set!!
The 50L and 85L II worked great. The AF was very accurate and I did not have to think about whether the shot was in focus.
The Canon 24-70 f/2.8L is proving to be an amazing lens
I'm really digging Topaz Impression! Charcoal and pencil styles, the ability to switch around colors, lots of oil and watercolor styles (including lots of emulations of various Masters painting styles) and tons of easy to use adjustments for on the fly adjustments. Playing with the demo but its amazing how far this technology has come and how it looks, dare I say it, "good"

Wow. Those turned out grea, Joshua!
Looks like it was a fun shoot too. Can't wait to see the rest.
Seeing these definitely whet my appetite for shooting this kind of setting. Hehe.
