Thanks puckman, much appreciated. My name is Philippe. It seems that there is an other guy called Philippe around : do not confuse me with him, he's a usurper.... :-)
Let me tell you a story, as best I remember it. After the US movie company Warner Brothers had produced "Casablanca", the masterpiece with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, they heard that the Marx Brothers wanted to do a movie called "a day in Casablanca". So their lawyers sent a threatening letter to Groucho Marx. Who answered in saying "well, if, as your contend, using one word can be trademarked and can let you prevent others from using it, then you can no longer be Warner Brothers, because we were the Marx Brothers well before you! And, even before us, there were the Brothers Karamazov!"
So, first, that you are Philippe cannot stop me from being Philippe. Unless, of course, I am older and then I was Philippe before you were Philippe. And then, the principle should be applied in reverse, and you can never be Philippe again!
A few Halloween grabs from a party last night...you might recognize me...I used the same outfit from a 60's party back in January!!

Werner, I like that second one, but the lens seems decentered, if that really is f/10 Correct me, but at that aperture the bottom, which would be the right edge of a landscape should be in the DOF, no?
Don't get me wrong the shot is nice Center really sharp .
Thanks Charlie for you remarks.
I don't think my FE35/2.8 is decentered in any way.
This was shot close to MFD (about 35-40 cm), if i check the DOF table it means a DOF at F10 of about 6 to 7 cm.
AF was on the top of the plant. The plant has a diameter of more than 7 cm at it's base even more. Take into account that the plane of focus is not the plane of the plant, it is possible that not all oft it is in focus or in DOF.
