The first two are the Vista House at Crown Point, originally built in 1924 as a rest stop for the new highway below, now contains exhibits and information on the area.
From a hike last weekend. Unfortunately I only got two (not great) snaps at the lake before a big wave of blowing snow, thunder, and a quite unhappy babe had us hurrying back to lower elevations. Not sure I've seen such wild, strangely contrasting colors before...
Many otherworldly landscapes on these last couple of pages. Great work. Makes me feel like I should take a vacation somewhere really scenic. Too bad that this crazy thing called work keeps intervening.
Brendands, are you shooting the ZM25 on a modified a7/a7r or native sensor stack? Colors and sharpness look phenomenal.

Landmannalaugar
My jaw literally dropped at that first one. Otherworldly and amazing landscape. I have got to go to Iceland!

All with the ZM25
Was visiting Portland back in the spring and really enjoyed the drive along the Columbia river gorge. So scenic. I have a couple of similar shots to yours here. Need to re-process them. Yours came out great!

beautiful shots!
don't worry the season never ends in the bay area.
This too. hehe. Great shot. I had a horrible time photographing the falls because it was pretty crowded and light was terrible at midday when we got there. Looks like you got a great one here though.
Wow, these last pages have been really impressive all-around. Feels wrong to single people out, but..:
Stunning photos Ronny! I'm envious that you got to visit Landmannalaugar. We couldn't go there because we only had a regular car. Some day...
brendans, beautiful and moody set!
sebboh, very nice photo of the falls! We went there about 12 years ago when we visited some friends in Portland (during an amazing 4 weeks road trip in north-western USA). We also went on a steamer ride on the Columbia river with them and it turned out that they had never been on a boat before!
Photo taken at 8:12 AM on June 10, 2015 of the plant and flowers Fly Poison ("Amianthium muscitoxicum"), Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 280mm f4 Apo Telyt lens with my Leica R 1.4X Apo Extender and my A7r; ISO 400, lens set to effective aperture of f8 at 1/320 second. Processed in LR6.
Charles: Beautiful shots with the 85L.
Bob: Those are stunning reflections. I'm busy with work, but I really hope that I can find some time to actually put the 35 1.4 through its paces. I really like the color rendition of that lens.
Werner: Another wonderful shallow DOF shot.
Grenache: Beautiful flower pictures. The bokeh shot is excellent.
Greggf: You're making excellent use of the Bokina.
Ronny: Excellent captures of those majestic landscapes. The icicles with the Zeiss 21 on the previous pages are pure genius.
Rene: Beautiful landscape shots.
akaclimber: The reflection of the aurora's light on the water surface is just amazing.
Here is one from yours truly, taken with the a7rii and the Elmarit 90 2.8. If you look closely you can see a second very faint rainbow to the right.
Sebboh--love the your m. Falls--use to live in Pdx, so a soft spot from me. Nice to see a fresh perspective
Ronny--so jealous!!!
X-wing--I like your processing
Sculptormic--lovely color palate
Two-eye--really dig the crispness and green in your photo with the seagull flying off
Puckman--lovely retention and processing of clouds
Sebboth, great image of the Multnomah Falls. Here are a couple of images of another of the other many falls in this area. The second one a stitch.
The first is taken with the FE 35/2.5, the second the Minolta Rokkor-X MC 50/1.4 PG. This is becoming one of my favorite lenses. I have tested it against two Canon FD 50/1.4's and two Zeiss Planar 50/1.7's. Maybe I just hit the jackpot on sample variation.

Great shots!!!
Jim
Thanks Jim! These are on a stock A7rII. It's pretty good stopped down at infinity, but there is still some smearing in the corners. I wouldn't really recommend it for a stock cam. I just sent mine off to get modded so I'm looking forward to see it with the thinner glass.
