The light in this photograph is spectacular. It resembles me of the picture of Jean Honore Fragonard, entitled "Le Berceau",which I saw some times ago in the museum of Amiens.I regard it fine painting in fact.Thank you for sharing.
Sheer combination of shadow, sunshine and clouds was exquisite today.I admit autumn light to be most "plastic" of the year.It is able to show half tones, colour gradation, contrast and natural saturation at it's best.Autumn light is the most Zeissy and Leica/Minolta of all.
Taking photographs I could hear the Georg Friedrich Händel/George Fredric Hendel's "Messiah" for most of the time, and towards the end of the day, when the skies got overclouded, I could hear JS Bach's "Matthäus Passion/St Matthew Passion"

Here are a few images from the Basilica of Montserrat, which is located about 90minutes away from Barcelona. The main "attraction" is the Black Madonna. The statue is protected inside a curved plexiglass cover and that renders the right side of the image blurred. And yes, the are reflections here and there on that plexiglass. Oh, well. There is an opening in the glass cover at Madonna's right hand that holds a sphere, symbolizing the universe. You can touch or kiss the sphere.
My goodness this thread goes fast! This is a segment of the original Oregon trail - which took settlers about 160 days to travel by wagon from the Mississippi River. Taken with A7r and Leica WATE - most likely at 16mm.
